Accessibility
Last updated August 13, 2026
Everyone should be able to use this site, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion. That is a design requirement here, not an afterthought.
The standard we build to
estateselevated.com is designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and every page is checked with automated testing before it is published. That testing covers WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 at Levels A and AA.
We do not claim formal conformance. Automated tools catch roughly a third of accessibility problems, so a clean result is a floor rather than a certificate — and saying otherwise would be the kind of claim this site is built to avoid making.
What that means in practice
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text meets at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and large text and interface components meet at least 3:1. This is checked arithmetically against the palette, not by eye.
- Headings follow a logical order and each page has one main heading and a skip-to-content link.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- The page remains usable at 200% zoom and at narrow widths without horizontal scrolling.
- Animation respects your operating system's reduced-motion setting, and there is a control in the footer if you would rather set it here. There is no flashing content.
- No part of the site requires hovering, a mouse, or a graphical effect to reach its content — the illustrations are decorative and everything they express is also written in text.
- There are no forms anywhere on this site, so there is nothing to fill in, no field to mislabel, and no validation error to miss.
Known limitations
Automated testing runs on every build. Keyboard and screen-reader checks are done by hand and are not exhaustive. WCAG 2.2 added success criteria — including the requirement that a focused element is never obscured by fixed content such as the call bar at the bottom of small screens — that our automated testing does not yet cover.
Automated testing cannot catch everything, and we would rather hear about a problem than assume there isn’t one.
Telling us about a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell Angelica directly. Call (323) 333-0425, or write to Keller Williams Realty Antelope Valley, 1401 W Rancho Vista Blvd, Suite B, Palmdale, CA 93551. Describe the page and what happened — you do not need to know the technical cause.
If a fix will take time, we will offer another way to get the same information or complete the same task in the meantime. If the barrier is the website itself, the phone number above reaches a person who can just tell you the answer.
