Parks in Santa Clarita: every City park, dog park and pool

The City of Santa Clarita's facilities directory lists 38 parks and plazas across Valencia, Saugus, Newhall and Canyon Country. The City's dog parks are Central Bark (27150 Bouquet Canyon Road) and Canine Country (20840 Centre Pointe Parkway), open dawn to dusk. Public pools are at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center and at Newhall, North Oaks, Santa Clarita, Valencia Glen and Valencia Meadows parks.

  • Dogs of 25 pounds or less may use both the small-dog and common areas; dogs of 26 pounds or more use the common area only.
  • No choke-chain or spiked collars, no dogs under four months old, and no animals other than dogs.

Parks with public pools

The City lists swimming pools at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center (20850 Centre Pointe Parkway), the George A. Caravalho Santa Clarita Sports Complex, and Newhall, North Oaks, Santa Clarita, Valencia Glen and Valencia Meadows parks. Pool seasons and hours are set by the City's Recreation division.

William S. Hart Park, Newhall

  • Park: open daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Barnyard: Tuesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a free guided tour on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • The William S. Hart Museum reopened on April 10, 2026.
  • Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day; open 8 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
