Westridge is the northern part of Stevenson Ranch, an unincorporated Los Angeles County community west of Interstate 5 and the City of Santa Clarita; the other part is Stevenson Ranch proper. It is home to The Oaks Club at Valencia golf course, runs along Valencia Boulevard, and shares ZIP code 91381, where Valencia is an accepted mailing name.

Jurisdiction: unincorporated Los Angeles County, west of Interstate 5 and outside the City of Santa Clarita.

Westridge's main east–west road is Valencia Boulevard; The Oaks Club at Valencia, a country club and golf course, is in Westridge.

How it was built

In the early 1980s the land was bought by Dale Poe's development company. After Poe's death in 1993, his heirs sold their interest to Lennar in 1996, by which time about 1,500 homes had been built; the community kept growing into the mid-2000s. Stevenson Ranch covers about 6.4 square miles, with roughly 1,000 acres set aside as parks, recreation areas and open space. Stevenson Ranch is also home to Pico Canyon and the historic oil town of Mentryville, founded in 1875.
